Macc’s fourth appearance on Paradox’s label for up-and-coming talent is also his most full and rich in sound. A flurry of Tighten Up breaks drive “Proper Trouble” through disturbing and dischordant strings and into the darkest dance. “Be Like Water” finds Bruce Lee rambling on the mic and Macc has quite a bit to say as well, packing in first rate drums with only the shortest breakdowns. Floaty guitar samples keep this one suspended above the trees. “Continuing growth” indeed. DJ M
