Finally smashing it’s way to 12-inch is “Antarctica”, an eight-minutes-and-change atmospheric Amen epic. This is perhaps the most esoteric niche flavor of Drum & Bass to fill but Equinox comes correct with rumbling subs, alien pads and signature endless drum edits. The flip marks the return of Steve Banaczech, who spotters will know from the days of Partisan, with an equally hypnotizing roller where timestretched breaks simmer in soft keys. DJ M
